Best Cities for CA Culinary Arts

You know that you want to get an education in the culinary arts. You also know that you really love the West Coast and think that it would be absolutely wonderful to do this type of education in a place like California. But which city should you choose for getting a California culinary arts education?
There are great cooking school programs (such as the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Programs) located all throughout the state of California so the choice really depends on the city where you would prefer to live and work. Ideally, you want to choose one of the larger cities where there are a lot of restaurants and therefore a lot of job opportunities.
The obvious choices for going to cooking school in California are Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego. The one thing to keep in mind as a drawback about these cities is that living expenses are higher here than in other parts of the state. However, the quality of life is also high and the education you get will include networking for jobs in the area.
Make sure to research the areas carefully as the different cities in California are all surprisingly quite different from one another. If you can spend some time in each of them before deciding, that’s going to be your best bet.
