Turn on the news or read the newspaper or the internet, we are bombarded with information about the state of the economy. Layoffs seem to be the norm as businesses seek to streamline work processes and eliminate waste. While some industries are suffering at the hand of a wavering economy, the medical field continues to recruit and hire to fill jobs at hospitals, doctor’s office and urgent care facilities.

Job candidates pursuing diplomas or certificates in the medical field build their resumes to secure positions in a field where employers are still hiring and expanding. Candidates may work towards an entry level position as a Pharmacy Assistant to a licensed Pharmacist. Programs are also available familiarizing candidates with medical billing and coding specialties.
Doctor’s offices are hiring for qualified personnel to help run their offices.
