Realistic Graphic Animation

It always amazes me how realistic graphic animation is these days.  Graphic designers do some amazing work in movies and video games.  For instance, there are some shots of the houses in Toy Story and some landscape scenes in A Bug’s Life that look remarkably real.  And of course, you can’t forget masterpieces such as Final Fantasy and Beowulf.

There are plenty of schools nationwide that teach this amazing art — and an art that is quickly rising in demand, I might add, with the digitalization of our world.  For example, the Collins school of graphic design offers some great educational programs for learning the skills and techniques necessary to pursue a career in the industry.

I’m no artist — I have absolutely no skill for copying proportions or drawing anything that looks lifelike whatsoever — but sometimes I wish I were.  It would be really cool to design graphics for video games or animated movies!
